Turks & Caicos

I have to give it up to the brides planning their own weddings.  That is one tough job!  As each day got closer to the big day, I swear I was going to go bald from pulling out my hair.  Good thing I had some help from a friend who happens to also be a wedding planner. Shout out to Love.Anne.Joy for all your hard work!

There was one responsibility that the wedding planner couldn't help with - where to go on our honeymoon.  We first decided on Italy but then got to thinking that we did not want to go sight seeing (that meant a lot more planning).  So we ended up going to the Providencial island of Turks and Caicos.

It was a humid 90 degrees and about 70 degrees in the water the whole week we were there.  Hospitality is more than superb. They'll even offer a beer while your lounging.

On our way to to Half Moon Bay (Iguana Island)

Half Moon Bay - absolutely gorgeous.  I have never seen a body of water this blue before neither have I seen sand as white.

One of our local tour guides with local Conch (that he dove and caught himself!)
We were so glad we chose this island.  Definitely what we needed after a year of wedding planning.  It was relaxing and oh so romantic.  But beware that everything has to be imported so the prices of goods are double and even triple versus the prices here in the states.  The locals here are so nice and the environment is so calm.  Definitely recommended.
